Merging Strengths

Gerry Jensen and business partner Terry Babb have an ideal combination of skills. They met years ago working with the same general contractor. Terry was in charge of field work and Gerry managed the business. Seeing the potential for a perfect partnership, they merged to form Millennium Enterprises Inc. in Santa Clara County.

"Terry has very strong field perspective and a construction background of building houses from the ground up. He's a nuts and bolts kind of guy, while I have years of management and business experience," says Gerry Jensen. "Our strengths complement each other. We offer what few others can-skill and background on the job site and in management. You can't run a good company with just one or the other, and we merge both of our strengths to the benefits our clients at Millennium Enterprises."

The years Gerry Jensen spent working in large-scale construction have bettered the service given to homeowners by Millennium Enterprises. "I saw procedures that were effective on larger projects and I brought them to our projects," he says. "Construction can be overwhelming, and regular meetings, sticking to basic building procedures and setting and keeping schedules help make our projects successful."

With their customer-minded approach to business, Terry Babb and Gerry Jensen make a great team. "We share ownership in the company," says Gerry Jensen. "We are proud of our company and we are proud of who we are, but we are more proud of each other and what our partner brings to the business."

Gerry and Terry are both from the Bay Area. Terry Babb grew up in Newark CA and now lives in Fremont CA, and Gerry Jensen and his wife live in their hometown of San Jose CA. Gerry Jensen graduated from the Central County Occupational Center in San Jose CA, where his mentor still works, and the company donates tools and supplies to help support their programs. Millennium Enterprises also donates time and work to help out local schools and churches.
