Nu-Designs Web Marketing LLC, has been helping clients establish a World Wide Web presence for over a decade.

Nu-Designs established itself from at team of individuals who came together because of a common interest in Web page design and development. The company was founded on the principle of commitment to excellence by Ron Lowe, who currently serves as vice president of marketing. Because the widespread use of the Web is relatively young, it is rather unique that this Web marketing and design business is over ten years old.

"In the Web design business (Nu-Designs) is like a 30-year old company," according to David Keith, vice president of operations. From the company's inception until now, they have created over 2,000 Web sites.

As the World Wide Web continues to grow and change, so does Nu-Designs. They have recently expanded their well-established company to include new services, new staff and new office space. In August of 2006, the Web development company was purchased and changed its name to Nu-Designs Web Marketing LLC to more accurately reflect the services they offer. One example of Nu-Designs work in updated sites will soon be found on the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce Web site. The company is in the process of upgrading the Chamber's site. Chamber members will find a "members only" section on the site where they will be able to access member-specific information and updates. In addition, Nu-Designs will be updated the calendar and online store capabilities.

Chamber staff will have the opportunity to update the site more frequently with a content management system. They will be able to upload photos and change content in-house, which is not currently an option. Finally, the overall look, feel and design of the site will be upgraded. Nu-Designs is scheduled to roll out the new site sometime in late April or early May of this year. "This is an exciting upgrade to our site and it will enhance the services offered to Chamber members. It is sure to be more aesthetically pleasing and more user-friendly," said Tallia Hart, president and CEO of the San Rafael Chamber.

Nu-Designs is an established, growing company that is unlike many other Web marketing firms.

"We have on staff our designers, programmers, search engine specialists, editorial team . . . our whole team is right here," said Keith. According to Keith, this set-up is unique to companies in the industries. It allows Nu-Designs to work closely with local businesses and individual clients, meet face-to-face on a regular basis with clients and expedite high-quality products.
