"In 2005, we were in need of an unusual remodel job at our home in San Carlos. Colette Cummins was referred to us by a good friend because of her imagination and proven ability to turn and unattractive space into a nice place to live.

When we purchased our tiny house, the garage had been split in half to make a room. There was a "hole" with some plywood and hooks. It was ugly. We asked Colette to make the room into an office. She immediately understood our concept and was able to give input and suggestions to crystallize our ideas.

Throughout the project, Colette was consistent, reliable and proficient. She was versatile and capable, fixing everything from the cabinets to the window. She kept all her appointments, and she stuck with the project until it was finished. She took care of everything from purchase of materials to design. She was conscientious of our costs, taking the time to find the best deals. She constantly consulted with us about our preferences regarding details. She was flexible when we had to postpone the project, and she returned immediately when we were able to restart again. She did exactly what we asked in exactly the time and costs she quoted, and her prices were quite reasonable.

Not only did Colette deliver what she promised, but she used her creative construction skills to make a beautiful and quality space from which I now write this letter. To complete the built-in desk she had to work with an area that in places was as hard as cement. She converted our "hole" into a solid piece of furniture. She made it look like the space was created for the desk, not vice versa. Our "half garage" is now an attractive, sturdy and highly functional room which I enjoy each day.
