Keech Brothers, Inc. Company Profile

r?> obert Keech's father started a house painting company in the late 1960s, so Robert grew up in the business. He has photo of himself standing on a bucket of Kelly-Moore paint when he was just two.

At age fourteen he was actively working as a house painter, and by the time he was eighteen he had his own contractor's license. He opened his own company called Sunrise Painting and ran it for over 7 years, then teamed up with his brother to form Keech Brothers, Inc. Painting Contractors. Eventually, his brother left to pursue other interests and Robert is now sole owner of Keech Brothers.

Old-Fashioned Service Combined With Modern Techniques
Having grown up in the business watching his father deal with customers in a forthright, fair and honest fashion, Robert wanted to bring those same standards to his own business.

"I wanted to bring old-fashioned quality and service along with modern techniques," he said. "People liked the way that customer service was a priority in the past, the way the old-time painters paid attention to detail and dealt with them honestly. That's what we're about today at Keech Brothers, quality work and customer service. We also understand that paint and painting technology has changed over the years, that certain paints are right for certain surfaces. We bring generations of knowledge and service put together."

Able To Handle Any Type of Painting, Staining or Refinishing Job
Keech Brothers excels at residential, commercial and industrial painting projects. Big jobs or small, they treat them all with a keen eye for detail. From waterproofing to caulking, staining to deck finishing, and, of course, painting, Keech Brothers can handle it all.

Happy, Respectful, Well-Trained Crews
The company employees anywhere from seven to 15 people, depending on the season and the number of jobs. Most of the crews have been with the company for a long time, according to Robert, who pointed out that the company takes good care of their employees. "We pay them well and we continually send them to trainings in safety and the latest painting techniques and technology," he said.

For Robert, owning and operating a painting business is about more than making a living. For him, it's a life. And because his name and his company's name are the same, he takes his responsibility to his clients very seriously. In a business where there are many undesirable "professionals" offering to do the work, Keech Brothers stands above the crowd.

Company Philosophy
"I think the main thing that sets us apart is our customer service," said Robert. "I hear that constantly from our customers. We do what we say we'll do. We show up when we say we will. We do it right the first time and we guarantee our work. If we need to come back for any reason to correct something, we will. Our customers' opinion of us means everything."

Robert plans to keep his company small for now, in order to be able to control the high levels of customer service and quality they are known for. His eyes are on every job and his expertise on every detail.

Honoring Their Customers' Trust
"My greatest satisfaction," said Robert, "is knowing that I did right by my customers. They trusted us with their home; their biggest asset. I like knowing that we do well even on hidden areas-things which the customer will never see. I can't sleep at night unless these are done right." He laughed. "I'm a type-A personality," he said. "That's great for the customer because I'm always there making sure it's done right. We're a good choice if you need a painting contractor. We're organized and we're clean, we have financial stability so we can concentrate more on doing the job right, and less on making money."
