Franklin Management & Tax Service Company Profile
n his formative years, Jack Harrington, Owner of Franklin Management, didn't anticipate a career in advanced accounting. In fact, growing up in Boston, he wanted to become a professional baseball player. As a young adult, he attended school to become an engineer, which later involved into a Business major. He had yet to become particularly excited by any of these pursuits. But when he was introduced to accounting through one of his mandatory classes, things clicked. He thought, "hey, I can do this."After working at a job providing CFO services and tax work for several years, he decided find his own clients and start his own business. "I knew I could do it better, cheaper, and faster for a small business. I have all the resources here; experience, equipment, people." Still in Boston, his business specialized in the services that Jack continues to offer-namely, accounting, bookkeeping, tax services, and CFO tasks.
Having imparted his accounting standards and practices on to his employees, he bequeathed them the management of his firm and set off to the Bay Area to hatch a second branch.
