Burke Painting Company Profile

John Burke hails originally from County Galway, Ireland. Since coming to America over twenty-four years ago, he has been a painting professional and has acquired in-depth expertise in all facets of the business. Prior to establishing Burke Painting, he worked his way up from being an apprentice to becoming a project manager and estimator of multi million-dollar projects for one of the Bay Area's leading commercial painting firms.

Established in 2000, Burke Painting sets the highest standards of excellence for each painting contract no matter how big or small. The Company adheres to the PDCA (Painting and Decorating Contractors of America) Industry Standards, which are the strictest painting standards in the United States. John Burke strongly believes that in the painting business, reputation is everything. Consequently he treats all of his clients as if they were his only client. This has resulted in high customer satisfaction and has led to over 80% of John's business coming from past client referrals.

Effective contractor-client communication is vital to achieving a well-run and successful project. John ensures this from the start with a detailed contract explaining in clear and concise terms what is included and reviews it with the client prior to signing. During the project John continues to ensure that the client is kept informed on all aspects of the work and in turn is receptive to the client's desires with client satisfaction being the ultimate goal of the finished project.

Burke Painting employees are highly-trained and skilled craftsmen who take great pride in their work. Most of them have been with the company for well over five years. You will find them to be courteous and respectful of the client's property with safety and cleanliness always the top priorities.

In that regard John Burke holds a Supervisor Lead Stabilization/Abatement license certified by the State of California. Due to the fact the lead poisoning is such a serious matter; John has trained his employees to treat every home as if it potentially had lead in the paint. This approach ensures that in the preparation phase of the project no lead-containing dust or paint chips escape the work area.

Burke Painting only uses the best grade of paints, guaranteed to last for five years. John also offers and encourages the choice of the latest government-approved human and environmentally friendly durable paint products known as low or no VOCs paints and finishes.

Burke Painting was honored to have been nationally featured several times on Home and Garden Television's (HGTV) Curb Appeal show as well as having been featured locally on KPIX Evening Magazine. Also the company will be featured in the April 2008 edition of the Builders/Architect Magazine.

For the future, John is committed to maintaining the high standards that have made Burke Painting the well-regarded professional painting company it has become.
